The best part is we get to hang out with someone else other than ourselves and they always offer to help out with the babies. With a competitive price point (Morphe at ~$3.50 vs $2.99/$3.50 - $6.99 for Red Cherry & Ardell respectively) it’s a low risk incentive to try Morphe.I know, I know…I have been a bad blogger all this week but, in my defense, we had family visiting. ![]() If you’re new to lashes or don’t care for more dramatic volume styles, I think these specific styles from Morphe are probably the best way to ease into the world of falsies. For me, these are going into my emergency stash. I’m not anti Morphe lashes, but they’re certainly not going into heavy rotation for a daily beauty routine. But I like my lashes like my hair extensions - 100% human hair. And I wholeheartedly support synthetic makeup brushes over animal hair. The concept of a synthetic cruelty free product is nice for those concerned about abuse against animals as it relates to the cosmetics industry. ![]() In my opinion, this explains the overall thin volume as compared to other human hair lash brands. The Morphe lashes are also very comfortable for all day wear.Īnd it wasn’t until the time of writing this review that I realized that Morphe Brushes Lashes are synthetic, versus Red Cherry or Ardell which are human hair lashes. Two styles are very lightweight, flexible and easy to apply. Much like the Ardell and Red Cherry styles I referenced earlier, these Although I like the flutter nature of the wispy lashes, I wasn’t in love with how thin the hairs were - as compared to Red Cherry or Ardell. But much like the other Morphe style, these aren’t really tapered at the inner eye. ![]() Likewise, they weren’t as long as the Red Cherry’s, so I decided to wear the wispy style instead because in the container they looked longer. But as soon as I took the first lash out of the container, I realized that it’s not nearly as tapered on the inner eye like Red Cherry or Ardell. Originally, I was really excited to try the Morphe #415 to see if it was a perfect dupe for the Red Cherry’s in the same style number. Yesterday I took the Morphe #WSP style for a spin and I liked them, but I can’t say that these lashes are a new favorite. So I was excited to give their lashes a try! Featured below are their #415 and #WSP styles. I follow this brand on Instagram and am obsessed with their palettes and brushes. So, whether I’m doing a dramatic eye for the evening or literally just giving myself a clean cat eye (with no eyeshadow), those lashes seamlessly transition.īut last weekend I was at a local beauty supply store and came across these Morphe Brushes Lashes and decided to buy a few styles. Likewise, they’re lightweight, flexible, comfortable for all day wear and easy to apply. I know without a doubt that these lashes offer the perfect amount of fullness while still looking natural. Typically, I’m reaching for Ardell Lashes in #118 or #120 or Red Cherry Lashes in #415. ![]() And after several years of wearing various types I have my “go to” brands. I’m a fan of false lashes! Unless I’m not feeling well or in a hurry, I pretty much always wear them because my natural lashes are so curly that even mascara doesn’t really make them pop if I’m wearing eye liner.
